Search and rescue efforts

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Under the instructions of Mehmet Hakkı ALMA, a team from Iğdır University, including our Property Protection and Security Department professors and students, arrived in Malatya to carry out search and rescue activities in order to remove our citizens from the debris resulting from the earthquakes that occurred in February 2023 and affected 11 provinces. . As a result of the work carried out, many of our citizens were rescued alive. We would like to thank our professors and fellow students for the work done under very difficult conditions and hope that we will never experience such a disaster again.
